How it works
Slowed plays the song back slower, so the pitch drops with the tempo the way a record does at the wrong speed. Untick “pitch follows speed” to change them separately; the tempo is then stretched with an overlap-add method that keeps the key.
Reverb uses a room response generated on the fly: decaying noise with early reflections, darkening as it fades. Room size is the time the tail takes to fall by 60 dB.
Lofi rolls off the highs, thins the bass, adds a soft saturation, a slow pitch drift like a worn tape, and synthesised vinyl surface noise. 8D sweeps the song in a slow circle between your ears.
